General Medicine provides comprehensive preventive and primary medical care. This program serves the day-to-day medical needs of adults by offering annual physicals, blood pressure check-ups, care for minor ailments such as sore throats, the flu and colds, earaches, and rashes, and provides more monitored care for patients diagnosed with asthma, hypertension, high blood pressure and diabetes.
Our Family Planning Program offers birth control counseling and medical care to both men and women and provides OB/GYN check-ups, initial pap smears and colposcopy services to women with abnormal pap smears. We also do pregnancy testing; women who are pregnant are given nutritional counseling and are referred to a local OB/GYN practicing in San Pedro for follow-up care.
The Mens Program provides general medical care that addresses the unique concerns of men and provides treatment for sexually transmitted diseases.
A Mental Health program provides counseling and peer support to adults, adolescents and children utilizing Marital and Family Therapist student interns enrolled in a graduate program at California State University at Dominguez Hills, under the supervision of a licensed psychologist.
